On Monday, June 17, the news was confirmed that a reality TV star has passed away. Bernie McGee, the star of TLC’s “Seeking Sister Wife,” has taken his final breath.

According to People, McGee died at the age of 41. TLC broke the news in a statement.

They wrote, “Our hearts go out to the McGee family following the loss of husband and father Bernie McGee. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.”

The reality star died in an unusual circumstance. According to reports, he was riding a bike when he “passed  away due to heat stroke/heart attack.”

A fundraiser page said, “Bernie and Paige McGee loved each other and their children unconditionally. Always helping others even though they were fighting their own battles. After losing everything to a house fire they were just beginning to get everything back together again. Unfortunately, they faced the worst sudden devastation that shocked many.”

Additionally, Paige took to Facebook to express her sadness and to explain the situation.

She wrote, “Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Bernie was out riding his bicycle and called me, saying he wasn’t feeling well and to come pick him up. The coroner said he had a heat stroke/heart attack. Please bear with me. I will respond as I can.”

Bernie is survived by his wife, Paige, and four children.

Prayers go out to Paige and the couple's four children as they walk through this loss! In other recent news to be praying about, four people were shot at the NBA celebration parade. Please keep everyone involved in your prayers.
