The health of the 73-year-old star or” Chuckle Vision” and “Chuckle Time” had been deteriorating over the last year. Sadly, Barry Chuckle has passed away.

Chuckle was forced to cancel a summer full of work engagements on the advice of his doctor, according to The Mirror. Please remember his family in your prayers tonight.

Barry and his brother Paul had been in the entertainment industry for more than 50 years together. They’d been working on their Channel 5 comeback show “Chuckle Time,” similar to the format of “You’ve Been Framed.”

The 12-episode show first aired in June but Barry became ill towards the end of filming. He took the decision to cancel the show due to medical advice.

Barry’s health had been deteriorating since 2017, when he failed to attend his brother Jimmy’s wedding. Jimmy married a Chuckle Vision fan who was 26-years-old, a 59-year gap between her age and Jimmy’s.

The mother of the bride said of Barry, “Supposedly Barry was ill, that’s all I know.”

Paul Dale, Barry’s manager, broke the news Sunday morning. He did not go into details as to his cause of death, but said that his wife Ann and their family surrounded him when he died.

“It is with great sadness that the family announce that Barry passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Ann and all his family,” said Dale.

Please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time of loss. In recent news, an “SNL” star recently welcomed the birth of their second child.
