Alec Baldwin in Handcuffs: Arrested in His New York City Neighborhood

Alec Baldwin has just been arrested. Reports are coming in that the Hollywood icon has been taken into custody following a violent incident in New York City.

"Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday afternoon for allegedly punching a man over a parking dispute in New York City. The 30 Rock actor, 60, was arrested at around 1:30 p.m. Friday after he allegedly punched a man on East 10th Street between University Place and Broadway, according to People.

Baldwin is said to have been charged with assault and harassment. He reportedly became very angry when another driver parked in a spot that Baldwin's friend was allegedly saving for the actor.

According to TMZ, witnesses said that Baldwin and another man argued over the parking spot near 10th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan’s West Village when Baldwin punched the man. The site reported that the alleged victim was taken to a hospital when medical officials arrived.

"The alleged victim, a 49-year-old male, was struck on the left side of the face and was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital, the spokesperson says. No additional details of the incident were available," reported People.

Social media quickly spread the news of Baldwin's run in with the law. Donald Trump Jr. didn't hold back on Twitter and commented about the news.

"Is anyone shocked at this piece of garbage anymore? As if the phone calls to his daughter weren’t bad enough. He’s a lib so he gets chance after chance to be decent but always fails!" wrote the President's son.
