Prince Harry and former American actress Meghan Markle, formally known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcomed their first child into the world on May 6th. Their sweet baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, quickly captured the hearts of Royals fans across the globe.

The new Royal was born weighing 7 pounds, 3 oz. Despite initial reports, his name allegedly has no special meaning; the royal couple “just liked it.” It was also reported that Markle’s favorite pet cat was named Archie.

When baby Archie made his public debut two days after he was born, Royals fans went absolutely wild over the family’s first photos together. The new parents were filled with joy as they set off to start their new lives as a family of three.

Fans have been anxiously awaiting for more pictures of little Archie since his birth. On Mother’s Day, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a new photo of him with a special message honoring moms.

“Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered,” the post began. “We honor and celebrate each and every one of you. Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe.”

“This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex,” the post also noted.

The photo only shows Archie’s tiny little feet wrapped in a soft, white blanket. His two feet were being gently grasped by his mama’s hands.

Happy Mother’s Day to Duchess Meghan and all of the wonderful moms out there! May God bless each of you.
