Another one of the Bush grandkids tied the knot over the weekend. George H.W. Bush's 29-year-old granddaughter Ashley Walker Bush said "I do" to Julian LeFevre on Saturday.
Her sister, Lauren Bush Lauren, officiated the ceremony. The celebration took place at the Laguna Gloria Museum in Austin, Texas.
The lovely bride braved the cold temperatures in a lovely long-sleeved white lace gown. The dress featured a high neckline, sweeping veil, and a pearl headband.
The couple got engaged in December 2017. At the time, Ashley's sister Lauren was the first one to announce the engagement.
It was a happy occasion for the Bush clan. However, it's sure that they missed their grandparents, George H.W. and Barbara, who both passed away last year.
Lauren shared a photo of the wedding online. She expressed her joy at being able to join them together.
"Beyond joyful for my beautiful and loving sister Ash & her new hubby Jules!" the 34-year-old Bush granddaughter, who is married to Ralph Lauren's son David Lauren, wrote on Instagram. "It was an honor of a lifetime to get to officiate their ceremony yesterday. I love them to the moon and back, and wish them a very happy forever more."
Meanwhile, the girls' mother, Sharon, shared numerous photos from the wedding and preparations on her Instagram. She was clearly very proud of her daughters.
Ashley's parents are Neil Bush and Neil's first wife, Sharon. Neil is the fourth of George H.W. Bush's six children,
After the ceremony, Ashley changed into a modern sleeveless white dress. It featured a turtleneck neckline.
The newlyweds are set to honeymoon in India. They joked, 'Hopefully we still love each other afterwards!'
