Rocky was arrested Wednesday morning at Los Angeles International Airport for assault with deadly weapon
According to an LAPD press release, Rocky and the victim were involved in an argument near Vista Del Mar Avenue and Selma Avenue.
According to the statement, “The argument escalated and led to the suspect firing a pistol at the victim.” The victim suffered minor injuries from the incident and sought medical treatment. The suspect and two other males fled the scene on foot after the shooting. Detectives worked hard to verify and investigate the reports, which led to the identification of the suspect(s).
The rapper was taken into custody and police executed a search warrant against his home. Police used a battering tool to get Rocky’s property.
