Delegates at the Democratic National Convention managed to manufacture an outrage regarding the food that was available for purchase inside the convention. As Bernie’s revolution came to a close, the delegates channeled their hatred towards Chick-Fil-A.
Back in 2012, Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy expressed his personal belief that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. Since that moment, liberals across the country have dragged his name and company through the mud and accused him of being a bigot. According to the Daily Caller, Cathy’s personal beliefs are the reason that the Democratic delegates are practicing bigotry of their own towards the company.
A Democratic delegate from Nevada, Joe Sacco, was angry to learn that chicken sandwiches were available for consumption. “That was just really disappointing,” Sacco said. “I would hope that the DNC would be more sensitive in the future to the LGBT community.
Another delegate and LGBT activist Sonya Lewis said “the owner is homophobic. I don’t buy Chick-Fil-A on purpose.”
To clarify, Chick-Fil-A has no company policy in place that discriminates against LGBT people. There is no policy that prevents any LGBT person from ordering and enjoying the food or even from working at the restaurant. All of the hatred towards the fast food chain and its CEO is because of what he personally believes. Liberals continue to refuse to acknowledge and accept an opinion that differs from their own.
