The Royal family celebrated a very special day on Saturday, July 6th. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, commonly referred to as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, had a private Christening ceremony for 2-month-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor!

Two official photos were released the palace. The first photo showed Archie sitting with his parents, uncle Prince William and wife Kate Middleton, grandpa Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Markle's mom Doria Ragland and Princess Diana's sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodal.

The second picture was a beautiful, black-and-white snapshot of Archie with his mother and father. The parents were captured with their newborn son outside in Windsor Castle's Rose Garden.

As tradition stands, Archie wore a handmade replica of the Royal Christening robe. The famous hand-me-down has been a part of the Royal family since 2008 being worn by Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, according to PEOPLE.

The replica gown resembles the one Prince Harry wore in 1984 for his Christening ceremony. Archie’s resemblance to his dad, especially on their Christening days, is uncanny. Aside from the robe, they both have very similar facial features.

Congratulations to baby Archie on this big moment! In other recent news, a reality star from “Teen Mom” was recently arrested and charged over a domestic violence incident.
