In the modern age we live in, individuals have taken to texting each other instead of talking on the phone or even meeting in person. The modern form of communication is quickly becoming one of the easiest and most convenient ways to send messages to friends and family members.
Along with texting, people are now able to send photos and videos. However, one of the greatest parts about texting is the use of little pictures in the messages, called emojis.
Now, Apple has studied what emoji users use the most. They have just released the findings and some folksier surprised to learn the results.
According to the study, more people use the “crying laughing” face than any other emoji symbol. It was followed by the red heart, the weeping face, the heart-eyes face, and the blowing-a-kiss emoji.
“Soon, you may have a new favorite emoji. New images on the way include a zombie, broccoli, sandwiches, scarves, gloves and more. A headscarf emoji is also now available, thanks to 16-year-old Rayouf Alhumedhi,” according to Fortune.com.
Some people even said they prefer using emojis to actual words. The study was taken of U.S. base users who are English speaking. It is possible millions more across the globe would also agree with the findings of the popular emoji.
