Antonio Brown won’t have surgery on the ankle unless another NFL team signs.
He told TMZ Sports that it was difficult for someone to undergo surgery without knowing where they are going to work.
Brown stated that he needed to have his ankle repaired, but he wanted to make sure a team had an obligation or a promise.
“It is a lot for a man to go to surgery without knowing where you are going to work, or for whom. He stated that he could not be in this job without being a professional football player. “So I don’t want to take it for granted. I would love to continue my professional career. I still have a lot to play.”
The Bucs fired Brown after he refused permission to take to the field due to an injury. Brown has had problems on and off the field. The drama may not be what the NFL owners want.
