Anne Heche Is In 'Stable Condition,' Ex-Husband James Tupper Asks for 'Thoughts and Prayers' After Car Accident

Anne HecheShe is currently in recovery after suffering burns from a Los Angeles car accident on Friday, Aug 5.

“Anne is currently in stable condition,” a representative for Heche told PeopleSaturday, August 6 “Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”

Her ex James TupperFans were asked to send positive vibes to the 53-year-old actress on Friday night. “Thoughts and prayers for this lovely woman, actress and mother tonight anneheche 💔 we love you,” he captioned a snap of Heche with their son Atlas, 13, via Instagram.

The Men in TreesThey met in 2006 and remained together for over a decade, until their 2018 split. Atlas is not the only child of Heche, but he also shares his son Homer, 19-year-old, with ex-husband Coleman Laffoon.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the car entered the two-story house from 30 feet. It was considered unsafe. The driver was conscious, able to communicate with firefighters, and was treated before being taken to the trauma centre. The fire was controlled by 59 firefighters in just over an hour.

“There was one person home at the time of the incident, an adult female, who was fortunately in the rear of the home, which amazingly spared her from any injury,” an LAFD official said in the video.

Before the fiery crash, the “Better Together with Anne & Heather” podcast host allegedly drove into the garage of a separate apartment complex. Video footage taken by TMZResidents were seen trying to remove Heche from the vehicle. Heche, however, apparently refused assistance and put her car into reverse. She then fled the scene.
