Anne Heche was involved in a car crash that left her severely burned in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles, California, on Friday, August 5, TMZ reports.
Los Angeles Police Department confirms Us WeeklyThe driver, who they wouldn’t identify, was driving eastbound on Preston Way at an extremely high speed. The vehicle ran off the road at the intersection with Preston and Walgrove, colliding with a residence on Walgrove’s 1700 block.
According to the LAPD the vehicle was set on fire and the driver suffered severe burns. LAFD paramedics took the driver to a local medical facility. In photos taken by TMZ, the individual can be seen wearing charred clothes as they’re taken away on a stretcher and covered in a white cloth.
Heche is alleged to have driven into the garage of an apartment complex just moments before the engulfed collision. This footage was obtained by TMZThe residents tried to remove the All Rise actress from her vehicle but she apparently put her car in reverse, and drove off before they could reach.
Police have no information about whether anyone else was injured.
