Young Reality Star’s Cause of Death Finally Revealed, Family in ‘Complete Shock’

Reality television star Annabelle Neilson sadly passed away on Thursday, July 12th, 2018. She was only 49 years old at the time of her death.

As previously reported, Neilson was a cast member on Bravo’s hit show “Ladies of London.” She was also known for being the former girlfriend of the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.

Details surrounding her death were not immediately available. However, Neilson’s cause of death was finally released a week later on July 18th.

The late reality tv star died of a heart attack, family members confirmed to PEOPLE. The family was completely “devastated” and “shocked” by the news.

“Very sadly, we have been informed that my sister Annabelle, died as a result of a heart attack at home last Thursday,” Neilson’s sister told PEOPLE. “It has come as a complete shock, as she had many plans having recently returned from Spain.”

“My parents and I are devastated and shocked by this news,” she added. “We would ask the media to respect the privacy of our family and Annabelle’s close friends during this very difficult time. We will not be making any further statement at this time. We thank you for your consideration.”

Following the news of her death, fans have continued to post sweet tributes on social media.
