Angelica Hale, only 9 years old, has been an all-time favorite on America’s Got Talent since the beginning of the show. Her voice is truly mesmerizing, and its hard to believe such a mature voice develops from a young child.
Judge Heidi Klum recently stated that this young, rising star was her personal favorite during the semifinals. Additionally, she has received a golden buzzer award from a previous guest judge earlier in the season.
She stunned the nation with her first performances of “Rise Up” by Andra Days and “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys, but her performance in the semifinals was her most notable. She sang “Without You” by David Guetta and Usher.
Although her performance was memorable all on its own, ultimately landing her a spot in the show finale, America is in awe of a video clip showing Angelica singing to her newly born baby sister. In her audition at the beginning of the season, she revealed that she was excited to find out she is going to be a big sister.
The clip shows Angelica walking into the hospital room where her mother just gave birth to her little sister. The 9-year-old singer was completely in tears before she held the baby in her arms and sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” while staring at the new member of her family with joy.
