Amy Schumer says Will Smith’s slap has left him traumatized.
“I think that we can all agree that streaming my series @lifeandbethhulu is the best way for us to unpack what happened and to see me on tour this autumn,” she wrote.
“But for real. Still traumatized and trigger-fogged. I love my friend @chrisrock. I believe he handled it like an expert. He stayed strong and gave an Oscar for his friend @questlove. The whole thing was so troubling. There’s so much pain in @willsmith. My cohosts, and I, are proud. But, yeah. We are still waiting for the sickening feeling we all felt to disappear.”
Schumer has deleted the post. The slap was a dominant feature of the coverage of the awards ceremony and everyone is still waiting for Chris Rock to respond. Although Will Smith has since apologized, some are calling on his Oscar to be revoked.
Is he going to lose his Oscar?
