Amid Investigation in Feinstein, a Man is Arrested for Threatening to Kill Her

Since the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing into the assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, Senator Feinstein has been in the public eye. Days ago, the news that Senator Feinstein was going to be investigated for her role in leaking Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

Now, the news comes that a man has been arrested for threatening to kill her. The man, who is from Southern California, sent the threat in an email.

The email, which was sent on September 30, came from a man with a troubled past. It was sent by Craig Shaver, but no other details about the content of the email were disclosed.

Prosecutors said Thursday that Shaver, who has a 1991 grand theft conviction, attempted a criminal threat. He was also accused of being a felon in illegal possession of a revolver.

He could face more than three years in prison if convicted. ABC News says a call to a Feinstein spokesman wasn't immediately returned.
