America’s Got Talent Judge Attacks Simon Cowell After ‘Danger Act Gone Wrong’

The 2017 season of America’s Got Talent has kicked off to a great start with a number of stunning acts. One act in particular, escape artist Demian Aditya, amazed the nation with his terrifying escape acts.

However, Aditya’s act called the "Death Drop" failed in the live rounds on Tuesday, August 22nd. He was attempting to escape from an enclosed wooden box in handcuffs, which was held up high in the air by a rope. At the bottom, spikes on fire gradually burned the rope, only giving Aditya a short amount of time to escape the box before it crashed to the ground of spiked flames.

As the judges awaited for him to escape, they became very confused when the box did not fall to the ground like it was supposed to and Aditya was nowhere to be found. After a few moments, Aditya appeared behind the judges.

The crowd “booed” and his failed act received two Xs— one from Mel B and the other from Simon Cowell. Although, host Tyra Banks came to Aditya’s defense, claiming there was a technical malfunction and it was not his fault.

After this “danger act gone wrong,” Cowell gave his remarks, comparing the act to Mel B’s marriage. He stated, “I imagine this would be like Mel B’s wedding night— a lot of anticipation, not much promise or delivery.”

Mel B, another judge on the show, immediately grabbed a cup of water and threw it at Simon. Her and Heidi Klum then stormed off the stage.
