An ambulance was seen at the White House on Thursday. Later, a man was taken out on a stretcher, reported The Hill.

The person taken out on a stretcher on Thursday morning was reportedly a tourist. He needed medical attention after falling and hitting his head.

NBC News White House correspondent Kelly O'Donnell wrote on Twitter that the tourist was an older man. She got this information from White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Bloomberg White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs also commented on the incident. She said the man appeared to have been taken care of. The unidentified male was seen "smiling as he talked to paramedics."
