After Mother Was Found Dead in Home, Her Two Missing Children Have Been Located

A tragic and terrifying story has emerged out of Round Rock, Texas. An Amber Alert has been issued for two children after their mother was found dead inside of their home.

According to CBS Austin, police responded to a welfare call on New Year’s Eve, where they discovered 44-year-old Tonya Bates deceased. Her two daughters, 14-year-old Lilianais Victoria Cake Griffith and 7-year-old Luluvioletta Mariposo Bandera-Margret, were missing.

The teen girl is 5’ tall, weighs roughly 100 pounds, has dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, a right nose stud, and braces. The younger child is 4’5”, weighs roughly 75 pounds, and has curly brown hair and brown eyes. It is not known what they were last wearing before they left.

A person of interest in the suspicious death and abduction has been identified as 44-year-old Terry Allen Miles. He was reportedly Bates’ roommate, but it is unclear exactly what their relationship was.

Miles is 6’2”, weighs 200 pounds, has hazel eyes, wears glasses, and has a beard. KVUE stated that he has not been heard from since Saturday, December 30th.

Information on his car was released. He drives a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent with Texas license plate JGH9845.

Originally, police believed they were headed to Louisiana. However, on Monday, police received a sighting of the group in New Mexico and may be en route to Colorado.
