Texas Authorities have issued an AMBER Alert Tuesday for a newborn baby girl. The baby's mother was found stabbed to death in her home.

People confirmed the search continues for the 6-week-old, Shanally Flores.

The body of her mother, Carolina Flores, was found in an apartment in northeast Houston. The police, who found her body, say she was stabbed several times.

The body of the 33-year-old mother was discovered by a relative. The relative also lived in the apartment.

Initially, police named the baby’s father, Thomas Bernardez, as a possible person of interest in the case.

However, investigators now say that he's been cleared. Bernadez was located in San Antonio, and he said he had nothing to do with Carolina's murder.

But investigators now say the father, Thomas Bernardez, is no longer a person of interest after being located in San Antonio and saying he had nothing to do with Carolina’s killing.

There were no signs of the child at his San Antonio residence.

Anyone who may know anything about Shanally’s whereabouts is urged to call Houston Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.
