Update: The child has been found safely. Thank you for your prayers!

An Amber Alert has been issued in Washington for a 16-month-old girl named Summer Flechner. The infant was reportedly taken by her biological father, 37-year-old David Reed.

Authorities have attempted to contact him, but have been unsuccessful. A local news source reported she has been missing since Monday, July 31st.

According to the official Amber Alert website, Reed has had a history of “drug usage and Bipolar activity.” Because of his past, this child could potentially be in danger and authorities are “concerned for the child’s welfare.”

Summer has brown hair and brown eyes. She stands at roughly 3 feet tall and weighs around 24 pounds. The young girl was last seen wearing a white, brown, and pink dress.

Summer's father is believed to be driving a green, 1993 Ford Explorer with a Washington license plate. The license plate number is BFW5796.
