Amber Alert Issued After 11-Year-Old Girl Abducted, She Is Believed to Be in Danger

An AMBERT alert was released on the night of Wednesday, July 25. The alert is for an abducted 11-year-old girl in Southwest Idaho.

Caldwell Police are looking for the girl, who was last seen on 2320 Carnegie Street Caldwell, Idaho. She is believed to be in danger.

The child's name is: Aila Nyelle Vesterby. She is an 11-year-old white female with blond hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5'2" and weighs 70 lbs.

The child is believe to be in the company of Kelly James Vesterby, a 48 year old white male with brown hair and hazel eyes believed to be 5'8, weighting 210 lbs. He appears to be her non-custody holding parent.

They may be traveling in a blue/green 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. The license plate is Idaho 3292V.

Their destination is unknown. It is possible that they are traveling to a reservation in Minnesota or Mountain Home, Idaho.

KPVI reported that Aila's mother has full custody. Kelly took clothing items for himself and Aila. Kelly is considered armed.

"Family members are concerned Aila is in danger," said the local news agency.
