A reality star was devastated over the weekend with the news that her ex-fiancé, who is also the father of her only child, had been shot and killed. Now, she may be getting some justice.
Reality TV star Angela Simmons confirmed that her ex, Sutton Tennyson, was fatally shot in Atlanta on Saturday. Tennyson is the father of Angela's son, Sutton Joseph.
According to TMZ, the man who allegedly shot and killed Tennyson has turned himself into the authorities. The lawyer of the man, who is named Michael Williams, told TMZ that Williams turned himself into the Atlanta Police Department.
Williams is being charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. However, Williams denies the allegations that he shot and killed Sutton Tennyson.
The shooting took place at William's home. Tennyson was talking in the driveway with another man when the conversation grew heated, and he was shot. The suspect fled in a car.
Following Sutton's death, Simmons said, "Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I'm hurting. I'm numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. I can't believe I'm even saying Rest in Peace Sutton. I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise."
Tennyson and Angela became engaged in April 2016. Five months later, they welcomed their first child into the world. In December 2017, the couple decided to call it quits but remained on good terms.
Please be praying for all of Tennyson's family and friends during this time. Sadly, his young son has lost his father.
