Alan Jackson Forced to Postpone His Shows Due to Serious Infection, Please Send Prayers

Country singer Alan Jackson is having some health problems that have forced him to postpone two tour dates. The 60-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer postponed dates scheduled for April 12 and April 13.

The decision appears to be a sudden one. He was still promoting the tour dates, which are taking place in Oklahoma City and Omaha, just a couple of weeks ago.

According to News 9, Jackson is currently fighting an upper respiratory infection. They said he said "doesn’t want to disappoint his fans with a performance that’s less than 100%.”

The Oklahoma City tour date has been rescheduled for September 14.

Jackson's Omaha show has also be rescheduled. It will take place on September 13.

According to Radio station KTIC 107.9 BULL, “The Country Music Hall of Fame member has been dealing with several days of severe spring allergies that have triggered an upper respiratory infection and does not want to disappoint his fans with anything less than a 100% performance.”

This is the second time that Jackson has been forced to postpone his show in Omaha. The show was originally scheduled to take place in October 2018, but he pushed it back to the April 2019 date following the unexpected passing of his son-in-law, Ben, in late September 2018.

We pray that Jackson feels better soon. Please also join us in praying for the family of a former NFL owner after he and his wife died in a murder-suicide.
