It’s the tip — for now? AJ McLean and his spouse, Rochelle McLean (née Karadis), confirmed they’re going via a tough patch after 11 years of marriage.
“Marriage is tough, however value it. We’ve mutually determined to separate briefly to work on ourselves, and on our marriage with the hope of constructing a stronger future,” the estranged couple informed Us Weekly in an announcement on Monday, March 27.
The pair defined that the choice to separate will hopefully not final without end. “The plan is to come back again collectively and proceed to nurture our love for each other, and our household,” AJ, 45, and Rochelle, 41, continued. “We ask for respect and privateness right now. Separation is tough sufficient with out the commentary, please be variety and bear in mind there are kids concerned.”
The Dancing with the Stars alum began relationship Rochelle in March 2009. After 10 months of relationship, the singer proposed throughout a visit to Las Vegas. The pair have been married in a goth-themed ceremony in Beverly Hills in December 2011.
Whereas collaborating on the ABC dance competitors, McLean opened up about his relationship along with his then-wife in a weblog for Us, calling her his “rock.”
