In a nation where the majority of the mainstream media leans towards a liberal bias, many Republicans heavily gravitate towards watching Fox News, which tends to have a more Christian/conservative viewpoint on current events. Several Fox hosts unashamedly mention God in their television segments, and additionally, have openly spoken out about their faith in the past.
In recent days, “Fox and Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt has made national headlines for her Christian faith on several occasions. Her latest public declaration for Jesus came on Tuesday, April 3rd when she appeared in a truly powerful interview with Jenna Browder from CBN News.
While discussing her Christian faith and professional career, Earhardt stated, "I'm so excited about what God has done in my life and I love Jesus and I can't hide that. I really believe that if I ever did that I would lose it all. I think God has blessed me because He knew I wasn't going to be afraid and I wasn't going to fear what the rest of the world thought."
"I am so grateful," she continued. "I thank God all the time for it and when I'm walking into Fox, after being here for 11 years, I pinch myself and just say, 'Really, God?'"
According to CBN, the Fox host is striving for her daughter Hayden to have a bold relationship with the Lord. Aside from the day of Earhardt's salvation, the day her child was born was one of the best days of her life.
"Other than becoming Christian, that weekend when she was born — she was born on a Friday — was the best weekend of my life," she said.
Earhardt’s new book, “The Light Within Me,” reveals more about her spiritual journey and relationship with God. The book is currently available for pre-order; the official release date is April 24th.
