In May of 2015, country music singer and actress Jana Kramer married former football player Mike Caussin. Shortly after they got married, the two announced that they were separating.
Kramer asked for a separation after she discovered that Caussin had been unfaithful in their marriage. After the announcement was made public, Caussin went to a rehabilitation facility while Kramer competed on "Dancing With the Stars."
According to One Country, about a year after their separation the couple announced that they were not done with their relationship yet. They revealed that they had not legally separated and that they were working on mending their marriage.
Kramer said, "What I say is, 'it's day by day.' We're not divorced, he is not my estranged husband, he's very much in my life. Legally he is my husband. I have a ring on my finger and we are actively working on it."
In October, Caussin told People, "I acknowledge that certain actions and behaviors have caused issues in my marriage and I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused Jana. I have and will continue to take the steps needed to change who I am as a person in order to be a better husband and father."
Now, the couple has made an exciting announcement. Kramer revealed on New Years Day that the couple renewed their vows in the beginning of December.
Kramer posted a heartfelt Instagram caption with photos from their renewal. They had a special ceremony in Hawaii on December 2.
She said, "2017.......you broke my heart, you broke me down, you made me question everything, but...did you make me strong. You taught me patience, you taught me family was everything. You made me believe not only in myself but the power of forgiveness. You turned me into the women I always wanted to be. I have NO clue what 2018 has in store for me but I've never been more ready to live day by day and enjoy each day as it comes at me."
Earlier in November, Kramer posted an adorable photo with her husband and their daughter. She captioned the photo, "A family worth fighting for..."
Congrats to Kramer and Caussin on their vow renewal! Hopefully, 2018 will be a growing and strengthening year for their family. Let us know your thoughts about this on Facebook. In other recent news, TODAY just announced who is the official replacement for Matt Lauer.
