After Month Long Investigation, Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock's Brother Arrested

October 25, 2017Oct 25, 2017

It has been reported that the brother of Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock was just arrested on charges of having child porn, according to TMZ. Bruce Paddock was taken into custody early Wednesday morning in North Hollywood, California at an assisted living home.

Sources claim that law enforcement was tipped that there was child porn on his computer. Based on this information they were able to obtain a search warrant. Sources also claim that the investigation began earlier this month before Stephen Paddock opened fire at a Las Vegas music festival earlier in October.

Thus, it was before the Las Vegas shooting that the investigation began, but it was only after his brother's evil act that Bruce was located at an assisted living facility. After being found, child porn images were discovered on his computer. The arrest was made by the FBI and LAPD.

This story has also been reported on by the Washington Post and local Las Vegas News.

Local Los Angeles news has confirmed that Bruce Paddock was arrested early on Wednesday, but then claim that the details surrounding his arrest, aside from what has been reported by TMZ, are not yet available. NBC4, a local Los Angeles news agency, is currently trying to confirm that Bruce was arrested at an assisted living center.

Bruce Paddock spoke to NBC News following the October 1 shooting at an outdoor music festival in Las Vegas that left 59 dead. The shooter, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was on a balcony on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel when he began shooting at the crowd. A total of 59 people were left dead and hundreds more were injured. It has been labeled the most tragic shooting in modern American history.

A motive for the shooting has yet to be determined. But there have been other shocking details reported about his family. In fact, the shooter's brother, Eric Paddock, revealed that their father was a bank robber during the 1960s. According to ABC, the father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, robbed at least one bank in the 1960s, escaped federal prison and landed himself on the FBI's most wanted list. Neither of the sons knew their father well.
