After Joining 'Today' Show, Jenna Bush Hager Announces Something Big

Jenna Bush Hager is seemingly loved by everyone! The cheerful daughter of former President George W. Bush has had a long and successful career in front of the camera.

She has worked on numerous news programs over the years. Now, Jenna recently announced she will be joining the "Today" show. Fans were thrilled to have her officially become a member of the "Today" family.

Now, Jenna is sharing some wonderful news! She has just chosen her first book for the inaugural book club that she will be hosting! It is called Read with Jenna.

"If you’ve been missing Oprah’s Book Club more than usual lately, Jenna Bush Hager is coming to your rescue. The soon-to-be Today co-host announced Wednesday that she is starting a new book club for the show’s viewers, #ReadWithJenna," reported People.

Jenna said she loves to read in her spare time. She credits her love of learning her own mother, a former teacher and who instilled in her the value of education and reading.

"Hager also announced the first monthly selection for the book club, Tara Conklin’s The Last Romantics. The novel, from the bestselling author of 2013’s The House Girl, follows the story of four siblings over 20 years as they grapple with a family tragedy," according to People.

After the announcement was made, the book skyrocketed on Amazon. It was last seen at No. 4 on the list.

"Today‘s Instagram page opens in a new tab will also serve as a discussion hub for the book club, posting 'thought-provoking conversation starters' to allow readers to engage with a larger community. You can find more information at the Today show’s website," according to reports.
