After Her Comments Criticizing Trump, Ruth Bader Ginsburg Makes STUNNING Announcement

After comments she made criticizing Donald Trump caused her to face a backlash of accusations that she had broken the Supreme Court justice code of ethics, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just made a stunning announcement.


According to CNN, Justice Ginsburg originally called Trump a "faker" and said "He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. ... How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns? The press seems to be very gentle with him on that."

Trump fired back on Twitter, writing "Justice Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me. Her mind is shot - resign!"

He later wrote on Twitter, "Is Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg going to apologize to me for her misconduct? Big mistake by an incompetent judge!"

House Speaker Paul Ryan also excoriated her, saying, "For someone on the Supreme Court who is going to be calling balls and strikes in the future based upon whatever the next president and Congress does, that strikes me as inherently biased and out of the realm."

Now CNN is reporting that Ginsburg has taken back her remarks.

In a statement she wrote, "On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them. Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office. In the future I will be more circumspect."
