Last month, Actress Heather Locklear was hospitalized after a suicide threat. The 56-year-old “Melrose Place” attacked her parents, who had stopped to check up on her, and threatened to take her own life.
According to TMZ, she choked her mother and violently hit her father. She did not have any immediate access to weapons, but she did try to find a gun.
Locklear, who has a history of substance abuse, was subsequently hospitalized. Just days after she was released from the involuntary psych hold, the actress was arrested.
She was arrested for attacking a police officer and an EMT. She was intoxicated at the time.
"The original 911 call was for a disturbance. Law enforcement sources say she was heavily intoxicated when a family member called. Heather, who we're told was extremely agitated, punched a responding deputy who was trying to separate Heather from members of her family. Paramedics arrived and, while putting her on the gurney, she kicked an EMT," reported TMZ.
Now, there's more bad news for her. Heather Locklear may have to answer for her alleged drunken attack on the paramedic.
According to TMZ, the EMT's hired a personal injury lawyer. She's suing because she claims to have suffered a serious injury during the ordeal.
The EMT has reportedly been reassigned to desk duty because of injury to her head and neck. The injuries apparently make working as a paramedic almost impossible.
She's suing reimbursement for her medical bills, pain and suffering, and as recompense for the verbal abuse from Locklear. Her lawyer refused to comment.
