On Saturday, the sad news was revealed that actress and former "Most Beautiful Girl in the World" Pamela Gidley had passed away earlier in the month. The actress died on April 16 in her home.
The 52-year-old actress was best known for her role as Teresa Banks in “Fire Walk With Me,” the “Twin Peaks” prequel. She acted in several other prominent movies and TV shows as well.
Some of Gidley’s credits include “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “The Pretender,” “Skin,” “Tour of Duty,” and “Strange Luck.” Her debut on the big screen was in “Thrashin’.” She also acted in “Cherry 2000” with Melanie Griffith.
Gidley originally started out working as a model, with gigs beginning as early as the age of 6. When she was 4 years old, she won a “Little Miss Lovely” completion in New England. Two years later, she became a model for Jordan Marsh.
Throughout the years, Gidley had several accomplishments in acting and modeling. She once appeared on the cover of “Seventeen” magazine and was also selected as the “Most Beautiful Girl in the World” by Wilhemina modeling agency.
After spending some time in the modeling world, Gidley decided to study acting in New York. Later, she moved to Los Angeles and landed several roles on the big screen.
Sadly, the actress passed away in April. Her family revealed that she died peacefully, but did not give a cause of death. She died at her home in Seabrook, New Hampshire.
Gidley is survived by her mother, Phyllis, her brothers- Glenn, Daniel, and Brian, her sister-in-law, Darlene, and her nephews and nieces- Adam, Keegan, Erica, and Alexis.
