A truly terrifying story has been reported over the weekend. On Saturday, Salem Sabatka, 8, was abducted in Fort Worth, Texas while walking with her mother.

Thankfully, she has since been found safe.

According to reports, Salem and her mother were walking Saturday night when they were approached by a car and a man grabbed her and took her into his vehicle. After Salem's mother attempted to save her by jumping in the vehicle, the kidnapper pushed her out of the car and drove off with Salem inside.

News of her kidnapping quickly spread. After a description of the suspected vehicle was released police received a call that it had been spotted early Sunday morning. Fort Worth police then arrested the suspected kidnapper, Michal Webb, 51.

Salem was then taken to the hospital and later reunited with her family.

Police are still investigating this crime and have since called the two individuals who found the vehicle "heroes."

“It’s a phenomenal feeling,” Buddy Calzada of the Fort Worth Police Department said. “We had citizens that went out of their way and helped not just the police department, but a family put some great closure to what we had going on right now.”

Our prayers are with this young girl and her family as they recover from this horrific incident. Please join us in praying!
