A sickening news story is being reported after ABC News panelists decided it would be a good idea to make a "joke" about President Trump's own funeral while they covered the late President Bush's ceremony. The controversial moment has since gone viral and is being strongly condemned by many.

"It will be the best presidential funeral ever. No one will ever have seen anything like that funeral," joked ABC News correspondent Terry Moran, according to a video of the exchange published by entertainment and media news outlet The Wrap.

The panelists began to also attack President Trump and claimed that voters did not want him to be elected. They compared his presidency to the late Bush's before continuing to discuss President Trump's funeral.

"And perhaps a recognition, in terms of his involvement in the proceedings by President Trump, that he someday will be getting a similar treatment when he passes, as a former president of the United States," Dwyer responded.

"Probably a different tone in that funeral," Moran quickly jumped in. "First he’s going to choreograph it. So, there might be more trumpets and fanfare."

Dwyer replied: "Yes, he would do it bigger, one would imagine."

Social media quickly lit up with furious comments about the completely inappropriate discussion. Now, some users are calling for ABC to apologize or even fire the panelists altogether.
