‘SNL’ Star Welcomes Second Child with Wife

Congratulations are in order for “SNL” star Kenan Thompson. He and his wife just welcomed the birth of their second child.

The 40-year-old actor and his wife, model Christina Evangeline, gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday night in Florida. They named the girl Gianna Michelle.

Gianna weighed in at 6 pounds 6 ounces at the time of her birth, according to Pop Culture. This is the second child born to the couple. Their first child, Georgia Marie, was born June 2014.

The couple chose to keep the news of the pregnancy a secret until July 28 when Evangeline posted an Instagram video showing her baby bump. The baby, according to the video, was due August 2.

“I’m usually private when it comes to these personal things, but we have less than 5 days until this little girl is due and I am just TEW excited,” she captioned.

Thompson also did not share news of the pregnancy with the public. Instead, he gave attention to his 4-year-old daughter Georgia, whom he claims is the true comedian of the family.

“She makes us laugh, really,” he said. “She’s the funny one. I try to make them laugh but I think they’ve heard enough from me, just from watching the show.”

“Kids are hilarious,” he added. “They say the darnedest things, but that’s just because they don’t really know what they’re saying, and that just makes much more funniness happen.”

Please keep the Thompson family and Baby Gianna in your prayers tonight. In recent news, George Clooney just celebrated an achievement just three weeks after his motorcycle accident.
