A ‘massive explosion’ in Kabul, Afghanistan injured more than 400 people and killed over 90 on Wednesday. 11 of the 400 injured were American citizens and 9 of the 90 killed were Afghan guards working for a U.S.-contracted security team, according to Fox News.

These numbers are continuously rising and will most likely change over the next few days. According to other news sources, this is the worst attack in the area since an ISIS suicide bombing occurred last year.

Currently, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Taliban released a statement claiming they had no involvement due to the fact that the attack affected many civilians. However, Fox reports that it is believed to be a suicide bombing.
