The world of Hollywood is generally thought to be a glamorous place. However, that is not always the case. Sometimes being a celebrity can have a terrible effect on an actor's life.

For two such actors, they probably never could have imagined the horror they would go through simply because they have seen acting success. Police have now reported that one actress was abducted, and another was brutally beaten, in a terrifying plot for money and extortion.

"Keith Andre Stewart, Johntae Jones and Amber Neal were indicted Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The three suspects facing charges including kidnapping, assault with a firearm, grand theft, mayhem, conspiracy and possession for sale of a controlled substance, methamphetamine," reported ABC News.

Daisy McCrackin, best known for her work in the "Halloween" horror films, and another actor, Joseph Capone, were allegedly abducted from McCrackin's home.

"Three people were charged Tuesday with kidnapping two actors from the Los Angeles home of Daisy McCrackin, holding them hostage for more than a day and torturing one victim who ultimately lost an eye," according to Oxygen.

"The suspects allegedly attacked the actors, and pistol-whipped and blindfolded Capone before driving him and McCrackin to Jones’ home a few miles away in Compton, authorities said. That's where the suspects allegedly stripped Capone naked and held him in a bathtub -- where he was beaten repeatedly and starved for 30 hours, authorities charged," according to reports.

The suspects allegedly tortured the actors and drove them to multiple ATMs and forced them to withdraw money. They also made Capone write a check for $10,000 to be released. When the victims were finally released, they immediately called 911.

Police were quick to hunt down the suspects and make an arrest. Although the incident happened months ago, footage of multiple officers arresting one suspect has gone viral and made many people angry at police by alleging police brutality of an unarmed woman. However, many critics didn't know the whole story.

“We are aware this video has raised concerns from the community. Although we are limited in what info we can release, we can confirm this individual was arrested on a felony kidnapping warrant & taken into custody without a use-of-force. She is being held on 1 million dollars bail.”

The case is still developing and entails are still being released. Please check back for more updates in the coming days as information because available.
