Ted Cruz Slams Harvard, ‘Elite’ Universities for Antisemitism

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz deeply criticized his alma mater, Harvard College, in addition to different “elite” universities whose college students have embraced anti-semitic rhetoric and actions in current weeks.

“Sadly, there are few locations on earth with extra vicious antisemitism and hatred of Israel than American ‘elite’ universities,” Cruz stated in a press release Wednesday. “It’s disgusting, and it’s harmful. I’m notably ashamed that scholar teams from my alma mater, Harvard, blamed Israel for the genocidal conflict that Hamas terrorists are brutally waging.”

“It’s previous time for universities to face up and squarely tackle the antisemitism that they’ve been breeding and unleashing, together with on their very own Jewish college students,” the Texas Republican added. “Harvard should resolve whether or not it desires to be a real establishment of upper studying or an incubator of bigotry and antisemitism whose college students attempt to rationalize and justify little one rape and mass homicide.”

Cruz’s remarks accompanied a bicameral letter to Harvard President Claudine Homosexual expressing outrage and disappointment over a press release made by over 30 Harvard student organizations that blames Israel for the brutal Hamas terrorist assaults and expresses help for Palestine.

5 Home Republicans joined Cruz in signing the letter: Reps. Elise Stefanik of New York, Dan Crenshaw of Texas, Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Brian Mast of Michigan, and Mike Crapo of Idaho.

“This assertion is abhorrent,” the Republican lawmakers stated, “and we demand that you just instantly condemn it publicly and make clear that Harvard College strongly opposes this harmful antisemitism.”

“The management at Harvard College needs to be ashamed,” Stefanik stated in a press release earlier this month. “After over thirty Harvard scholar organizations launched an antisemitic assertion blaming Israel for Hamas’ vicious terrorist assaults it took Harvard President Claudine Homosexual three days to even condemn Hamas’ assaults.”

“Harvard management has nonetheless not denounced the scholars’ assertion, that is morally sickening,” she added. “Any voice that may defend the raping, killing, and kidnapping of harmless ladies and kids has chosen the aspect of terrorism. I’m proud to steer my colleagues and fellow Harvard alumni in demanding higher from our alma mater.”
