Whereas Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have been collectively for greater than 20 years, all of it practically fell aside over film spoilers.

Gellar — who has been married to the She’s All That star, 46, for 20 years — quipped that her movie-spoiling habits “nearly was” hurtful to her relationship.

Whereas the Wolf Pack star and Prinze Jr. disagreed over their movie-viewing expectations, they’d an instantaneous spark after assembly on the set of 1997’s I Know What You Did Final Summer season.
“She didn’t have a driver’s license. She didn’t know easy methods to drive. And we had been capturing in Southport, North Carolina, which was an hour’s drive from the closest Wilmington, which was the largest metropolis that was closest to us,” the Christmas With You star completely advised Us Weekly in April 2020. “So, I began driving her, and that’s when her and I turned mates. And we simply would speak about life and stuff like that, and we had utterly totally different philosophies on nearly all the things. ‘Trigger she was a born and raised New Yorker and I used to be a born and raised L.A. child, and we simply checked out all the things like night time and day.”
He continued on the time: “By the top of the film, I simply wished to be mates along with her as a result of I believed she was too skinny, and I wished to cook dinner for her. As a result of that’s what my household does. And so, we began this weekly barbecue factor at her home, and me and my cousins would come over and cook dinner meals for her and her mates. After which we’d be certain everyone ate, and that was form of how our friendship started.”
The Scooby-Doo costars’ bond rapidly turned romantic they usually in the end tied the knot in September 2002. The twosome later expanded their brood in 2009 and 2012, respectively, welcoming daughter Charlotte and son Rocky.
“Some folks say our expectations are slightly larger than most, however I feel [our children] know what the principles are,” Gellar beforehand advised Us in February 2020 of parenting. “We’ve got [family dinner] as many nights as we are able to. We’ve got no telephones on the desk. We sit [and] all of us have dinner collectively.”
