Sadly, another shocking terrorist attack has rocked the world. According to reports 4 explosions, including one from a suicide bomber, have left at least 41 people dead and have wounded dozens of others.

The attack took place on Thursday in Kabul, Afghanistan. The blast was focused on the Shiite Muslim cultural center in the Afghan capital. Many of the injured suffered burns from the intense explosion. ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the heinous act.

"The IS-linked Aamaq news agency said three bombs were used in the ferocious assault as well as a single suicide bomber who blew himself up inside the center, where scores of people had gathered to mark the 1979 invasion of Afghanistan by the former Soviet Union," according to reports.

“I jumped from the roof toward the basement yelling at people to get water to put out the fire," said one journalist who was at the scene when the bombs went off.

The United States ambassador to Afghanistan called the explosions "horrific" and said he remains "confident the Afghan government and people, supported by their friends and partners, will defeat those behind these terrible acts.”
