A tragic story is making headlines this week after the death of a young Olympian for Team USA. According to reports, Kelly Catlin was found dead in her home at the age of only 23. Now, her cause of death is being revealed.

Her family confirmed the sad news that their beloved daughter, Kelly, has killed herself. She was a rising Olympic track cyclist who most recently represented Team USA at the 2016 Summer Games, reported Fox News.

“There isn’t a minute that goes by that we don’t think of her and think of the wonderful life she could have lived,” Mark Catlin wrote of his daughter “There isn’t a second in which we wouldn’t freely give our lives in exchange for hers. The hurt is unbelievable.”

Catlin had a very successful experience during the 2016 games. She helped lead the women's cycling team to a silver medal. The USA Cycling team has just released a statement on her passing.

"We are deeply saddened by Kelly's passing, and we will all miss her dearly," USA Cycling President Rob DeMartini wrote. "We hope everyone seeks the support they need through the hard days ahead, and please keep the Catlin family in your thoughts."

At this time, the family has not revealed a possible motive for her actions. Please join us in praying for them as they endure this tragic time. We also pray for anyone around the world who is suffering from depression. May God heal their pain and lift their spirits in a way that only He can.
