All Passengers, Crew Members Killed in Texas Plane Crash After Takeoff: ‘Huge Fireball’

A tragic story emerged out of Texas over the weekend. All eight passengers and two crew members aboard a twin-engine plane were killed in a horrible crash on Sunday, June 30th.

According to PEOPLE, the aircraft was departing from Addison Municipal Airport and headed to St. Petersburg, Florida. Shortly after takeoff, “something went seriously wrong” and the plane rolled over crashing into an airport hangar.

"It went from watching an airplane trying to climb and fly, to a huge fireball with debris everywhere," one witness said of the incident. “It was really awful.”

Video footage (below) showed a giant cloud of black smoke surrounding fiery flames. First responders were spotted on scene trying to put out the fire.

This story is developing. As of 1:30 PM on Monday, the identities of the victims were not released to the public. The cause of the crash is also unknown. Stay tuned for additional details.
