Target is becoming a live study of how not to run a business. First they open up the women’s dressing room and bathroom to any man who wants to enter, and then follow that up with attacking a man and his heroic actions.
Several years ago a man saved the life of a teenage girl from a crazed attacker. According to Breitbart, 16-year-old Allison Meadows was shopping in a Target store in Pennsylvania when Leon Walls ran into the store and stabbed her.
The only thing that prevented her from being killed was Michael Turner and a group of men who chased Walls away from Meadows and out of the store with a baseball bat. “I thank him,” Meadows said of Turner’s actions. “I thank him every time I see him.”
One would think that Target would be thankful for the brave hero’s actions in light of their own security failure that allowed the woman to be attacked. So how do they thank and reward Turner? By turning around and suing him.
The Target leadership must really believe in the idea that there is no such thing as bad press because their actions continue to shed light on their harmful and borderline insane actions. They defended their ridiculous lawsuit against Turner by claiming that he put other shoppers at risk by chasing the attacker towards the store’s entrance and out of the store.
The victim’s family is outraged over the treatment of her hero. “Suing Michael Turner is just Target’s way of trying to blame someone else for what happened under their own roof,” Meadow’s attorney said. “The family certainly doesn’t blame Mr. Turner and they are thankful he was there that day.”
This is another reason I will never again shop at a Target store, not only did they recently put a policy in place that puts women and children at risk, they sue a man for going out of his way to protect a woman from a crazed man with a knife.
