This is pretty shocking. It just goes to show that there is so much turmoil and complexity going on inside someone's heart as they contemplate ending their life.

Reports have just shared that former New England Patriot's tight end, convicted for murder and serving a life sentence, wrote "John 3:16" on his forehead before hanging himself in his cell with a bed sheet.

Hernandez also had a Bible open near him, turned to the same reference:  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Hernandez also reportedly left three notes, but the contents of them have not been disclosed, shares CNN.  Here, Franklin Graham comments on Hernandez's "last words" and shares that no one is beyond God's love and forgiveness.

Hernandez left behind his fiancé and four year old daughter, who are surely suffering greatly right now.
