We don't know how to feel about this one!
According to a recent interview, the musical rocker and gun rights advocate, Ted Nugent, is considering throwing his name in the running.
“I’m always very interested in making my country and the great state of Michigan great again and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to help in any way I possibly can,” Nugent told the Daily Caller. Ted also went on to allude to running for office on his Twitter page, though we can't publish the choice language he used to say so.
Nugent also shared a story recently that suggested he may be running for office in 2018. By sharing the story, Nugent created a large buzz on social media since people didn't know if he was hinting at a real campaign or not.
Nugent was an open supporter of President Donald Trump and an avid critic of Hillary Clinton. However, he still wants to see results from the new president.
“Though we dodged the toxic blue bullet on November 8 and showed that the real Michigan is bright red, the embarrassing high-crime blue smudges in the state must be fixed and removed ASAP,” Nugent said, most likely referencing inner cities in Michigan.
Nugent went on to say he's optimistic about the future under President Trump and feels he's made big, positive changes already.
“He is addressing and acting upon the most obvious needed upgrades good Americans have been craving and demanding for a very long time,” Nugent said.
So, what do you think of this? Is Nugent similar in style to President Trump? Do you think he could really take office?
