World Champion Dead at 37


Steven Holcomb, World champion bobsledder, was found dead at the Olympic Training Center on Saturday.

Holcomb passed away at age 37 and the cause of death is currently unknown.

Holcomb had a condition that affected his eyesight, where he gradually goes blind overtime. This is one of the factors that made his accomplishments even more amazing.

He brought home an olympic gold medal for USA in 2010 and two bronze medals in 2014.


He started competing in 1998 and continued all the way up until he died in 2017.
