Woman PLEADS For Trump To Free Her Pastor Dad Jailed For 6 Months Without Charges

A young woman is pleading for President Trump’s help to aid her father who has been held in a Turkish jail for six months without any charges.

According to Breitbart, Rev. Andrew Brunson and his wife Norine, of Black Mountain, North Carolina, were arrested last October after a Turkish coup to overthrow President Tayyip Erdoğan.

They were accused of taking part in the coup, even though they have been faithfully leading a Protestant church of 30 to 40 members in the country for 23 years.

Norine was released after a short time, but Andrew remains imprisoned despite no charges being filed against him.

U.S. Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), who has been advocating for Andrew’s release, says there was never any evidence presented against him. Andrew’s family believes he’s being persecuted solely for his Christian beliefs.

Now his daughter Jacqueline has sent a tearful video plea to the U.S. government, saying, “I really, really want to get my father’s case to President Trump. We want to have a meeting with him. We really feel that it would be helpful to have the president’s support and have him personally argueing for my father’s case to get him back home safely to his family.”

Please join us in praying for Rev. Brunson’s release!
