Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty Endorses Someone for President — And It's Not Who His Dad Endorsed!

Last week, Phil Robertson, the patriarch of Duck Dynasty, announced his endorsement for the Republican Presidential nomination — and it was Ted Cruz. The two appeared together in a video, both in duck hunting attire and face paint, and Phil gave a strong endorsement.

Thursday night, his son Willie came out and endorsed Cruz's main rival — Donald Trump! According to the Hill.com, Willie said "Mr. Trump is a real leader. He represents success and strength, two attributes our country needs. Like me, he is a successful businessman and family man and I endorse his candidacy for President of the United States."

Donald Trump said he was happy to receive the endorsement. Phil Robertson, who is the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty clan and who endorsed Ted Cruz the week before, was not quoted as having any comment. So the presidential race this year produces surprising results — even in one family!
