If most of us could be a black-belt in Taekwondo, a licensed pilot, a pianist, a surfer, a SCUBA diver, a motivational speaker, and a Guinness World Record holder by the age of 32, we'd feel pretty accomplished. But imagine if you did all that without arms.
What Jessica Cox, who was born without arms, can do is absolutely incredible. The Tuscon, Arizona, woman is an inspiration to us all, but especially to those born with her same condition.
According to the U.K. Daily Mail Online, 3-year-old Ruth Evelyn Pranke, who was also born without arms, was driven six hours by her mother to meet the inspirational pilot during the premier of ‘Right Footed’, a documentary about Cox's amazing life.
“I thought it would be motivating for her — showing that she can overcome your disability no matter what you are born with, or what you are born without,” Ruth's mother Karlyn Pranke said to ABC News. "She's been saying since we got home, She's just like me. She doesn't have arms."
"I'm just grateful that we had the opportunity to show everyone that it doesn't matter if you have arms or not, that you can do the same things as everyone else — you just may have to do it a little differently," Karlyn Pranke added.
The stories of Jessica and Ruth are inspiring! God bless you both!
