What Scripture Did Tim Tebow Share — and Why Is It Important in His Life?

Tim Tebow has had lots of fame and fortune in his life. He has stood strong as a Christian even in the midst of criticism and ridicule.

What has been especially difficult for him is that he has been denied his opportunity of being an NFL quarterback, even after leading the Denver Broncos to the playoffs. Since then, he has tried — and not succeeded — at making the quarterback position with different NFL teams.

It would be easy for him to be bitter, or to blame others for his not getting more chances. The Scripture he recently shared?

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32

It can be easy for us to ask for forgiveness; it can be a lot more difficult to forgive others! So even when things aren't going well for Tim, this Scripture is a great anchor -- to forgive others even as Christ has forgiven us.
